I come from a family of five my parents, an elder brother, an elder sister, and me. My father served in the Indian Army. A large part of my childhood was spent inside army campuses: disciplined, structured, and rooted in service.
Like many children who grow up in that environment, I too dreamt of wearing the uniform one day. But life had a different plan for me.
The Year That Changed Everything
When I was very young, my elder brother met with a tragic train accident. He lost one of his hands and became a special child. During his long hospital treatment, my parents stayed by his side continuously. My sister and I just five or six years old were left at home, moving between relatives every ten to fifteen days.
That one year lasted only 365 days on the calendar. But for us, it felt like living 365 different lives.
Living without parents at that age changes you. It forces you to grow up early. It teaches you empathy, pain, and resilience before you even have words for those feelings. That incident quietly shaped my thinking and my purpose forever.
A Different Kind of Uniform
In college, I completed my B.Tech in Information Technology from a college under Kurukshetra University, Haryana. Around the same time, I quietly cleared the Air Force Officer Cadre entrance exam something I kept to myself. But by then, I had already realised something: while serving the nation at the borders is honourable, my calling was to serve people from within at a deeper, more human level.
After college, I worked with early-stage companies OYO and FabHotels during their rapid growth years. Those years taught me business fundamentals, customer psychology, and operations. But more than any of that, they showed me how silently stress destroys people.
In 2017, I started my own guest house business. Over time, I built four properties and found financial stability. But what stayed with me was not the money it was the people.
Most of my guests were corporate professionals, patients, and their families. Every day, I met people carrying invisible burdens: chronic pain, anxiety, emotional exhaustion, the quiet helplessness of being a caregiver.
Watching them reminded me of my own childhood the uncertainty, the quiet suffering, the longing for someone to simply make things easier.
I knew I had to find a way to help.
The Search for Something Real
Around this time, I met Harpreet through a mutual connection as his mother was going through serious medical challenges. That shared pain became the starting point of a deeper conversation, and together we began researching cannabis-based wellness.
We reached out to twelve Indian cannabis brands to understand the industry. Only two responded. One sent a photocopied certificate dated 2019. The other sent marketing brochures.
That was the moment we realised that "trust" in this industry was little more than a buzzword. And that the gap we needed to fill was not just a product gap it was a credibility gap.
We didn't stop there. We identified India's most rigorous independent laboratories and began testing formulations ourselves not to meet a minimum standard, but to exceed it. Every product on our site carries those test results, openly available for anyone to verify.
We didn't want temporary fixes. We wanted real, sustainable solutions built on precision, purity, and consistency.
Why CrescentCanna Exists
Our research led us deep into traditional knowledge, modern science, clinical studies, and global wellness practices. That is when we discovered the profound potential of Cannabis Leaf Extract not as a recreational substance, but as a therapeutic botanical, referenced in Ayurveda and validated by modern research for pain, stress, anxiety, and overall wellbeing.
What followed was not easy. We studied formulation science, absorption mechanisms, legal frameworks, and safety standards. We learned that effectiveness doesn't come from trends it comes from precision, purity, and the courage to be transparent.
That journey gave birth to CrescentCanna.
I couldn't save my brother from that accident. I couldn't change my childhood. But I can and I will create solutions that help others live with less pain, less stress, and more dignity.
That is why CrescentCanna exists.
